I’m quite familiar with a ton of VR porn apps and I’ve settled on using just a few. The cool thing about Playa is that it was developed by the VR Bangers folks. And, if there’s one thing Bangers know…VR Bangers know VR porn. They’ve been in the game since early 2016 and are one of the industry’s most innovative forces. And, Playa is free. And, it works beautifully with the VR Bangers library and family sites.
Like I mentioned, it’s from Bangers. And, that means the quality is going to be there. And, people have been raving about Playa for a while now. It works with Rift, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Vive, Gear, Android, you name it: the VRB folks pretty much have the bases covered. Playa is still going strong in 2024. It even has a PANIC mode if somebody enters unexpectedly.

A slightly different type of app as it’s an app game, but as far as VR porn game apps go, this is the best. They also recently released their new Dezyred game, Family Secrets, starring Leana Lovings and Lexi Luna.

Skybox App
Skybox VR Player app
SkyBox: Skybox is a VR video player that I’ve used with the Quest and now the Quest 2. It also works with the Quest Pro. It was last updated a month ago. So, this isn’t some abandoned junkware. As of April 2024, this still sells for $9.99. I have no connection of any sort with Sky Box VR, and I’ll tell you I consider that money well spent.
It’s served me well, and the one things I’m a little confused about is that I think I got it for free some years back, but it appears like it’s now 10 bucks. “With SKYBOX, enjoy videos from your UPnP/DLNA media server or SMB share in the same Wi-Fi. A easy-to-set-up PC Client is available to support streaming from PC = Save your Storage!” I never do the DLNA streaming thing, but considering I’m a professional VR porn reviewer, I should probably give that a try…
…my preferred method is definitely just downloading and having files on local storage, but…anyway…
Pigasus App
Pigasus VR Media Player app for Quest1. Quest 2, Quest Pro, and I’m going to guess Quest 3
Pigasus: Pigasus is a media player that works just fine with Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest Pro. People were raving about how good it is…so, I bought it. Heck, it’s only $5.99. As of April 2024, this is still $6.99.
And, I thought it worked fine. But, at the end of the day…FOR ME…it didn’t work any better than SkyBox, and I’m so damn used to the SkyBox interface, I just went back to it…still, this one’s definitely worth a try! They say: “Pigasus is a feature rich universal media player that supports networked streaming of media from UPNP/DLNA media servers and Samba shares as well as local playback from your device’s internal storage.” I believe that Pigasus works only with the Quest and Quest 2.
HereSphere
Heresphere VR video player app
HereSphere is the most expensive and complicated VR porn media player app on this list. It can do the most. There’s no doubt about that. And, it has the steepest learning curve. There’s also no doubt about that. This is not for everyone. But, if you like to get geeky…if you don’t mind spending some hours reading and fiddle-faddling around…in fact, if you enjoy that…then this is an app that you very well might love.
I’ve personally used HereSphere a good bit. And, it can do some damn much. And, the truth is that even though I used it a good bit, I still don’t feel like I understand it!
HereSphere was last updated in February 2024, so this isn’t some abandoned app.
HereSphere describes itself like this: “HereSphere is a cutting edge VR video player that enhances immersion. Features include an autofocus depth algorithm, software IPD adjustment, head-tracking, spatial audio, lens distortion and alignment corrections, online video streaming, and video tagging with advanced search features.”
It still sells for$29.99 and there is a demo available also.
Gizmo and Android apps
Gizmo VR: This app was last updated in 2020. So, let’s face it…it’s done. I’m removing the link.
In 2023. I removed the rest of the Android VR porn apps that were discussed below. VR Porn for Android is done. It’s weird that Samsung discontinued the Gear VR. I have a lot of fond memories of that device. But, it’s been discontinued for years.
