Who’s PS-Porn VR?

Well, the name seems a little odd, but let’s not get distracted. This is how the PS-Porn gang describes itself at POVR:

A new standard for VR porn?

Now, I know marketing is, you know, marketing…but, even in that framework that’s a pretty fucking bold claim. Particularly for a European studio as you’re already competing with the like of CzechVR and Virtual Real Porn.

But, all right…you PSP folks will get a fair shake. I happen to sort of worship Nicole Love, so you’re off to a good start there!

Let me watch a few PS-Porn movies and let you know what I think.

There’s like 43 PS-Porn scenes at VR porn

Over at POVR PS-Porn has 23 scenes.

Oh, I get it! PS, I think stands for Paula Shy! Interesting…

Okay, so this morning I looked at the PS-Porn page over at VRporn…and, their self-description there is a bit different than the POVR one:

I see…so, the PS stands for Paula Shy…so it would appear. And, that would explain why her picture is in their header. The opening line of their description is:  “Any porn lover deep into the European scene should need no introduction to Paula Shy.”

So, it’s an interesting and unusual premise—at this stage in the game—to have a studio devoted to a single performer. But, with that said—while, they do have quite a few Paula Shy scenes available—PS-Porn actually releases scenes with women besides Paula.

The Women of PS-Porn?

Paula Shy, Sara Kay, Cindy Shine, Nicole Love, Freya Dee, and Tiny Tina. There are multiple scenes from most of the performers with an emphasis, of course, on Paula Shy.

And, if you’ve been a part of this VR porn universe for even a bit: this roster probably has a familiar feel. And, that’s cool. I like this roster also! A lot! What guy ain’t gaga for gorgeous Czech gals! Serious about that…

Image quality/clarity of PS-Porn?

Well, they’re releasing up to 5K. And, like a broken record: don’t get too hung up on the number before the K. There are a lot of factors that determine VR porn optics.

The optical quality is not spectacular. It’s not on par with the top-tier visual experience you get from some of VR porn’s original studios.

But, it doesn’t have to be the best in the world. It’s good enough to be enjoyable. In some ways, that’s really the bottom line standard. Is it good enough that you can enjoy the performer that you’re into? Yes.

Camera positioning skill?

I have not watched every PS-Porn scene. I flipped around in a few to try and get a feel for the work.

In the PS-Porn scenes I watched the camera was in the same fixed, stationary position for the scene’s entirety. Some folks love this and will argue that it most easily facilitates their masturbatory immersion. Some fellas like a moving camera, cuts and depth changes, etc. I don’t think there’s really a wrong or right here. My personal preference, though, is for the latter. I tell you that because I think when I reveal my personal biases it makes for the most honest reviews.

With that said, PS-Porn is releasing a legitimate VR porn product that  crosses the quality threshold required for some wack-worthy enjoyment.

Intimate presence manifested and maintained?

Yes, I think PS-Porn did a decent job in this regard. Is this a master class in VR porn intimacy? No, not at this point. But, I’d certainly say that PS-Porn is on the right track and that I’m looking forward to see what they do in 2022.

Is PS-Porn worth it?

So, these scenes come bundled with a POVR or VRporn membership. That always changes the calculus on whether it’s worth it or not. Because, the price of entry gets you thousands of videos from a bunch of studios. And, a few hundred of those videos are absolutely fucking great.

So, if you subscribed to an aggregator site for these and didn’t dig them…nothing lost, really: go download a couple hundred other, world-class VR porn scenes.

So, if you’re digging this Euro gal stable…if you’re horny for them, you’ve no doubt been wacking to their CVR and VRP scenes for the past few years, but hey…if you’re a fan of them, you might want their entire libraries, in which case, I imagine you’ll want these scenes for completion.

And, if you’re a fan of Paula Shy in particular, then needless to say, you’ll want to take an extended look at PS-Porn.
