Because for a lot of people, those headsets are not affordable. Apple Vision Pro is $3500. That rules it out for many. Likewise, the Vive Pro 2 is $1250.
Second, I wouldn’t be able to write a simple guide for those. But, I can write a very simple guide with the headset we’re mainly discussing today. Which one?
The Meta Quest. There are four versions. The one you get depends on how much money you have to spare.
- I have money to spare: Then get the Quest 3 which ranges from $500 to $650 depending on storage space. If possible, get the $650 version with max storage.
- Money’s a little tight: Then get a new Quest 2 which is presently discounted and selling for $280 to $350 depending on storage space. Shop around for best price. Look on eBay for much cheaper. Additionally, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Quest 2 price come down even further soon.
- I can barely pay my Internet bill: Get a Quest 1 off eBay. I’ve seen them for $55 from trusted sellers. You ain’t got to be rich to have VR porn fun! You can still have a damn horny time with a low-price Quest 1. If possible, though, get the Quest 3.
- Concerning the Meta Quest Pro: I don’t really recommend that one to anyone. It’s a long explanation but I just don’t ultimately think it’s worth it right now.
- Quest 3 Lite: There’s a somewhat substantiated rumor circulating that in early 2024 Meta is releasing a $199 Quest 3 Lite with 64 GB storage. Just a little juicy nugget for you folks.
Meta Quest headsets give a great experience with a stand-alone headset (doesn’t need to be attached to a computer to function). Setting them up is easy and intuitive. You put the headset on and the actual headset gives you instructions that walks you through the set-up process. You can easily stream video to it, if you like. Don’t be intimidated. It’s easy!
And, I love it that there are the different versions kicking around. It means that there’s a version that just about anybody can afford. Because, even when I was broke and drunk in the ghetto, I could still get fifty bucks together for an eBay Quest 1. Hell, check Craig’s List. Do what it takes, man!
VR Video Player
The Quest has a default one. Use that one for now. In the back of your mind, make a note about another video player: Sky Box. But, for now, let’s just go with the default. And, if you’re a little bit nerdy, put HereSphere player in the back of your mind for later also.
VR Porn Movie Scenes
This is probably the most complicated part.
What’s complicated isn’t how to do it. This is how you do it: you can either stream it through the Quest’s browser. Or, you download to your computer. Plug the Quest into your computer with the included cable. Transfer the VR porn scene from your computer to your Quest.
